Correct a wrong NAV before investors deal on it

Reconcile scheme holdings, transactions, corporate actions, accruals and prices against custodian and registrar records and the valuation rules. Fund Accounting can publish a corrected NAV on time, refer pricing judgements to the valuation committee and compensate investors who dealt at a wrong price.

Starts when

  • Pre-publication variance check against benchmark, peer scheme or units outstanding fails
  • Custodian end-of-day position report does not match fund-accounting holdings
  • An NAV already published is found to be wrong
  • A price different from the valuation agencies' average is proposed for a holding

The process is a starting point. The standards are yours.
